Golden Arrows signs Chippa defender Ntombayithethi

The KwaZulu-Natal based Premier Soccer league club have brought in Vuyisile Ntombayithethi to strengthen their backline

The 27-year-old defender is part of coach Manqoba Mnqithi's vision, earmarked to tighten up Golden Arrows at the back in the PSL this season.

Ntombayithethi made his debut at Chippa United, and mainly has Vodacom League level experience. So it remains to be seen how he will cope with the PSL's best attackers in this campaign.

The Golden Arrows official website confirmed the news of the signing. The Lamontville club, based in Durban didn't have a bad opening day result when they drew with Ajax Cape Town.

The opposition were coached by former Arrows man Muhsin Ertugral who had inside knowledge of the club. Both teams shared the spoils with a 1-1 scoreline.
