Golden Arrows to showcase more new talent next season

The KZN club has once again, under the leadership of head coach Manqoba Mngqithi, signed a number of new players for the upcoming season

From their new signings there are only three regular names, former AmaZulu players Nkanyiso Cele, Dumisani Zwane and Welcome Qalanto from Chippa United.

This is not something new from Mnqgqithi who is fondly known for promoting talent from the amateur league divisions.

The players that Arrows have signed this time are Nzuzo Luthuli who is a central midfield player from second division side Gamalakhe United FC, Peter Wedaba who has been a pillar of strength as a striker at Thanda Royal Zulu, Siphelele Hlelani who plays central midfield from Durban Warriors FC, Asiphi Nkonzo who is a central defender from SAB club Rietvlei Liverpool, Nkanyiso Mngwengwe who is a central defender from another SAB club Umngeni city Movers and Khotso Polelo who is an attacking midfielder from Second Division side FC Hunters.

“There are couple of players that the coach is looking at that might still be signed before the start of the season. Within those players there might even be some familiar faces,” said the source.
