Goal South Africa summarises one of the busiest weeks during the 2013 transfer window, which saw many clubs make major signings

With the 2013/2014 season less than six days away from kickoff, PSL clubs took the opportunity to make a host of signings this week.

Bloemfontein Celtic started the week off by capturing the signature of Lerato Lamola from Roses United, with the striker joining Siwelele on a two-year contract.

Tuesday saw SuperSport United confirm the signing of Kurt Lentjies with the player joining Cavin Johnson's squad on a two-year deal, while Serbian goalkeeper Igor Bondzulic penned a deal to join Moroka Swallows.

On Wednesday, Lucky Lekghwati extended his contract at Orlando Pirates for a further year.

Ghanain goalkeeper Daniel Agyei joined Free State Stars on Thursday, as Steve Komphela seeks to replace Kennedy Mweene. Meanwhile, Moroka Swallows signed their second player of the week, with Asavela Mbekile joining the Dube Birds.

Platinum Stars signed Takesure Chinyama on a one-year deal to round off the transfer action on Thursday.

Friday only saw one deal being completed, with the talented Morne Nel joining SuperSport United from Old Mutual Football Club.
