Ghanaian Anthony Manison on trial at Kaizer Chiefs

The 19-year-old Manison had a brief spell with Rayo Vallecano reserve team, and he told the club website that he is hoping to impress the AmaKhosi technical team

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the presence of Ghanaian defender Anthony Manison at Naturena as they continue to search for a centre-back.

Chiefs’ football manager Bobby Motaung had earlier this year highlighted that the team will only make two major signings ahead of the 2013/2014 season.

Speaking after his first training session with the Soweto giants, Manison praised the level of professionalism at AmaKhosi.

“I saw some intelligent moves from the players, and we trained at a high level. I am happy to trial here. I know a lot about Kaizer Chiefs,” said Manison.

The Ghanaian-born central defender revealed that he wants to impress the technical team and eventually sign for Chiefs.

“I am hoping to impress the technical team here, and get an opportunity to play for one of the biggest sides in the continent,” added Manison.
