thumbnail Hello,

The 23-year-old Mathoho fitted like hand in a glove under Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter after he was signed from Bloem Celtic at the beginning of 2012/2013 season

Bafana defender Eric “Tower” Mathoho could be leaving Kaizer Chiefs during this transfer window should any of the European teams show interest.

Tim Sukazi told Goal that there haven’t been any offers for Mathoho as yet, but he confirmed that the player is open to European move.

“There haven’t been offers for Mathoho, but he could potentially move to Europe during this transfer window.

“However, that matter cannot be discussed, because there is nothing on the table. Chiefs wouldn’t have a problem letting the player go, because they never stand in any player’s way,” Sukazi told Goal.

Mathoho had a fantastic first season at AmaKhosi, helping them to two titles in the process after signing from Bloem Celtic in 2012.

Meanwhile, Sukazi also confirmed that Chiefs haven’t approached Free State Stars for the services of Luyolo Nomandela, and the midfielder will remain in Free State.

Nomandela has been linked with the “big three” after a successful first season at Free State Stars, but Ea Lla Koto are reportedly reluctant to release the 23-year-old attacking midfielder.

“No team has come forward for the services of Nomandela. There haven’t been talks between the player and Chiefs either,” said Sukazi.
