Musona reportedly set for Kaizer Chiefs return

Media reports in Zimbabwe suggest that 1899 Hoffenheim striker Knowledge Musona will rejoin Kaizer Chiefs on a one-year loan deal

Zimbabwean international striker Knowledge Musona has reportedly concluded his remarkable comeback to Kaizer Chiefs after weeks of speculation.

Gemazo, a media publication in Zimbabwe, reported that Musona will indeed be in South Africa next week to rejoin his teammates on a one-year loan deal.

“The deal is finalised and everything is in black and white. Musona has agreed to the deal. He even called his family (on Tuesday) and (he told) them he is coming back to South Africa to rejoin Kaizer Chiefs. He is coming back to play for Kaizer Chiefs. He has been loaned (on) a one year contract,” Gemazo reported.

Musona left AmaKhosi for a German side 1899 Hoffenheim in 2011, but he has had a frustrating spell in the Bundesliga.

However, the 22-year-old striker has previously expressed his desire to prove himself in Europe, and his agent Paschalis Tountouris revealed at the end of last season that the player wants to stay in Europe.
