“Kaizer Chiefs would like to confirm a new member of the AmaKhosi family, Goalkeeper coach Dennis Rudel,” revealed Chiefs on their official twitter account.

The new AmaKhosi goalkeeper coach was recommended to the management by Dinkelacker, and the decision to bring him to Naturena proves how valuable Dinkelacker’s opinion was to the Soweto giants.

Rudel has been coaching for the past five years, and although he has not coached anywhere outside Germany, he is expected to continue from where Dinkelacker left off.

The 36-year-old Rudel used to attend coaching clinics organized by Dinkelacker in Germany a few years ago, and it remains to be seen whether he will be able to pass his knowledge to the most experienced Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper and captain Itumeleng Khune.
