PSL Transfer Wrap: Sundowns beef up striking department

Dove Wome and Cuthbert Malajila have officially joined Mamelodi Sundowns as the club continues to build its squad for next season
Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed two more signatures on Wednesday, with Cuthbert Malajila and Dove Wome set to arrive at Chloorkop.

Pitso Mosimane has already added a variety of new players to his squad, which includes Bryce Moon, Rodney Ramagalela, Tiyani Mabunda and Raymond Monama.

Two potent strikers arrive in the form of Wome (Free State Stars) and Malajila (Maritzburg United), with both players maintaining strong records at their former clubs.

The deals display Sundowns' intent to improve on their poor PSL campaign last season, while the club continues to be linked with more potential signatures such as AmaTuks star Bongani Zungu.

In other news, SuperSport United have decided to offload seven players with the likes of Sibusiso Zuma, Lucas Thwala, Jabu Maluleke, Mark Haskins, Nathan Paulse, Danleigh Borman and Prince Hlela all set to leave the club.

According to Kickoff, Ugandan defender Savio Kabugo is currently on trial at Bidvest Wits as Gavin Hunt continues to search for new players to add to his already burgeoning squad.
