KwaZulu-Natal based club Maritzburg United seems to be having doubts about letting go of their star player Mohammed Awal
The 25-year-old Ghana International defender played a crucial role last season for the Team of Choice and that might be the reason they are now thinking twice about him.

“Our first choice is to keep him, as it is important for us that we keep the balance in the squad and he is important to that,” Maritzburg United Manager Quinton Jettoo told Times media.
The manager went on to say that, although they want to keep him, they will negotiate if great offers come in.
“But, obviously if an offer comes in that you feel you cannot refuse, you have to give it some serious thought. We will see what happens if the time comes, it is difficult to talk about offers when there is nothing on the table in front of you," he said.
