Former Bafana Bafana and Mamelodi Sundowns player Papi Zothwane has been given an opportunity to revive his career with Swallows
Zothwane spent the whole of last season without a club and his agent Glyn Binkin, was worried about his future. Earlier last season he had told Goal that they will keep on fighting, before Swallows rescued him.
“At the moment he is a free agent and we are working very hard on getting him a club. It is disappointing to see such a talented player not playing. What is great though is that he has been keeping himself fit with local teams back home,” he told Goal earlier this year.

The midfielder who made a name for himself in the PSL whilst playing for Golden Arrows is expected to make a full return to soccer.
Last year around July there were reports that the player might be joining the Dube Birds but unfortunately that deal did not come to pass.
Shall things go well this time, Zothwane will be buoyed by other players who are over 30 years of age who revived their careers at Swallows. Some of those players include Joseph Makhanya and Siyabonga Nomvete.
