Goal has been informed by one of the Sundowns’ administrators that Black Leopards duo Tiyani Mabunda and Rodney Ramagalela are close to joining the Brazilians
Mamelodi Sundowns are expected to announce the acquisition of Tiyani Mabunda and Rodney Ramagalela from Black Leopards in the next few weeks, as the two players have reportedly agreed to join Sundowns.
Goal reported towards the end of last season that Pitso Mosimane wants to sign Ramagalela from Leopards, and the former Bafana coach should be excited that the move is finally happening.

One of the Sundowns administrators confirmed to Goal that the two players are as good as theirs and that they are expected to join their new teammates for pre-season training on June 24.
“The deal for the two players is almost done. Mabunda and Ramagalela are expected to join our pre-season training on June 24,” the source told Goal.
Sundowns are now waiting for Black Leopards to name their price, because the two players are still contracted to Lidoda Duhva.

“We agreed terms with them and now it’s up to Leopards to name their price, because they are still contracted to Leopards,” added our source.
Sundowns are expected to release at least 14 players before the end of the month, as they look to inject new blood into the team that has gone five seasons without silverware.
