Striker Eleazer Rodgers faces uncertainty over his future at Sundowns after spending one season with the Tshwane giants
The future of striker Eleazer Rodgers at Mamelodi Sundowns seems to be over, after Goal was informed that the lanky striker will be allowed to leave the club.
Although Sundowns have not yet decided on whether to sell or send Rogers out on loan, but it is believed that the player will not be in Chloorkop come next season.
“We are not just buying players, but a lot of players will be leaving us and we are still going to announce the names of those players. There has been interest for Rogers’ services,” the source told Goal.

Rodgers had a frustrating first season at Sundowns and he only managed to score a few goals for the Tshwane giants.
However, Rodgers was still hoping to impress coach Pitso Mosimane who will get the opportunity to assess all the players during the pre-season.
“If there is a team that will buy him then that’s fine, but if not then he might be sent out on loan though we haven’t decided which team,” said the source.

With Santos heavily involved in the PSL-promotion play-offs, they certainly watching the situation closely and Rodgers might also be tempted to return home should the People’s Team get promoted to the PSL.
