Pirates and Chiefs target Manyama to know about his future next week

Ajax midfielder Lebogang Manyama tells Goal that his future at the Urban Warriors will be decided within the next seven days

Ajax Cape Town midfielder Lebogang Manyama has told Goal that his future at the club will be decided next week, as he has continuously been linked with the two Soweto giants.

Manyama has been outstanding for the Urban Warriors this season, creating and scoring a few goals that helped Ajax to avoid the drop.

“I am not sure where I will be playing next season, but I will have to wait until next week because that’s when everything will be finalized,” Manyama told Goal.

Although Ajax Cape Town chairman George Comitis revealed that Manyama is not for sale, the Ajax boss is unlikely to refuse offers from either Orlando Pirates or Kaizer Chiefs.

Goal understands that Pirates could be the team that Manyama will sign for in the next few weeks, as Roger de Sa has already submitted his wish list to club management for the upcoming season.

Pirates are guaranteed a minimum of 40 games starting with the Carling Black Label Cup on July 27, and De Sa will need a big squad if he is to avoid disappointments due to injuries, suspensions and fatigue, as they will also be involved in the Caf Champions League.
