Former Zimbabwe Warriors defender Dickson Choto faces an uncertain future at his Polish Ekstraklasa club Legia WarsawThe 32-year-old center back Choto's contract expires on June 30, and the club has not yet offered him a new deal.
With limited game time and no talks of a contract extension, it appears Choto’s 10-year stint at the club might come to an end.
Three games remain before the conclusion of the season and Choto has only made two appearances, while he featured in just five games last term. His club Legia Warsaw are closer to clinching the Ekstraklasa title.
Meanwhile, former PSL star Knowledge Musona’s German Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim will play in the relegation play-offs after ending the season third from bottom.
Hoffenheim escaped automatic demotion with an 2-1 win over Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund, while they also had to thank Hannover 96 for upstaging their closest relegation rivals Fortuna Dusseldorf 3-0.
Musona will return to Hoffeinheim after spending the season on-loan at Augsburg who also survived relegation on the last day of the season following a 3-1 win over relegated Greuther Furth. He was also linked with a return to the PSL.
In the Danish Superliga, Quincy Antipas was facing a situation similar to Musona’s when Brondby escaped relegation on the last day.
