The Mamelodi Sundowns coach was named coach of the last Quarter on Monday, and made it clear once again that he wants players that will perform for pride and who will be inspired by the mission of the team and not money.

“We need to search for players that are more dedicated and willing to put every effort for the team. Last season we had many players in our squad, but we really need to sit down and evaluate if what we are paying is really worth what we are getting in return,” said Mosimane.
The coach was disappointed for not getting his team to finish in the top eight, and said that at the same time he is proud of the work that he has done with the club so far.

“You will remember where I took the club from and one needs to recognize the hard work and effort that we have put since I arrived at Sundowns. Our mission is to finish on top next season and that can be achieved if we get the correct type of players who will go all out for the club,” said Mosimane.
One of the worrying factors for Mosimane is the finishing of his strikers and with the Maritzburg United striker Cuthbert Malajila being linked to the club, his worries might be over.
“I wouldn’t really state which players I want, but I know that I want strikers who will finish well,” he said.
