Goal.com spoke with Tim Sukazi to clear the air regarding the future of Bongani Ndulula and Mark Mayambela, who are both on the books of Orlando Pirates
heading to Durban to join AmaZulu.
Ndulula will sign a permanent deal with the Durban-based club despite rumours that he’s eyeing an overseas move.
“Ndulula has been allowed to leave the club (Pirates). I can confirm that AmaZulu are interested in Ndulula and the two parties are negotiating at the moment but he’s definitely joining them,” said Sukazi.
Tim Sukazi has also told Goal.com that fans’ favourite Mark Mayambela, is not leaving Orlando Pirates in the near future although it was reported that he might be joining Chippa United.
“Mayambela is staying until the end of the season. We will discuss his future with Pirates after the season has ended, but he is still a Pirates player,” added Sukazi.
Orlando Pirates technical team seems to be unaware of any movements made by their players.
Pirates’ coach Roger De Sa confessed to Goal.com that his technical team hasn’t been informed about any players leaving or signing, despite having had a meeting with the management on Wednesday.
“I don’t know if Bongani (Ndulula) is leaving or (Mark) Mayambela is staying. The management deals with these issues (players' contracts),” said De Sa.
“We had a meeting with the management yesterday (Wednesday) and nothing of that nature was discussed in that meeting. I will hear from the management if there will be any new players joining the team,” he said.
