Pirates move for Ajax duo Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly

Orlando Pirates are after Ajax Cape Town attacking midfielders Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly. Goal.com South Africa spoke with an insider within the PSL defending champions camp
An insider within the Orlando Pirates camp revealed to Goal.com South Africa, that the Buccaneers are going to step up their ambition with a R10 million offer for both Ajax stars Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly from Cape Town.
“A few players will be offloaded at the end of the season, though I am not going to reveal any names,” said the source.
“The management is willing to bring Khama to the club and I heard Keagan Dolly’s name in the process, but R10 million has been set aside for those transfers to take place,” revealed the source.

One has to question the price quoted since Billiat will need to justify it by raising his game to the standards expected of him. Dolly is unproven, but at the age of 19 he is a talent who could have a bright future.
When Goal.com South Africa contacted Ajax Cape Town's offices to find out about the future of Khama Billiat, Ajax’s PRO Shoes Mekutu revealed that they are not keen on selling to Pirates.
“We are not selling any of our players to any club, especially Orlando Pirates. Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly are still contracted to Ajax, and we will only consider overseas moves for them at the end of the season,” said Mekutu.

Since Amsterdam is willing to the players, eventually it might not matter to them which club takes him, if the price is right. A major determining factor would be where the players want to play, and this is where Pirates will need to convince their targets.
