AmaZulu close to signing defender Mhamha, as deal isn't complete yet

Durban based club AmaZulu, have shown interest in bolstering their defense by bringing back home Phumlani Mhamha to rescue the team
Although some media houses reported that the player had signed already, a reliable source from AmaZulu, confirmed to that the player has not yet signed on the dotted lines.

“As much as it is true that we want him and we are so close in signing him, but reality is that we have not signed him yet. It would be dangerous for us to claim him as our player although there is an over 90 percent chance that he might sign with us, as we are in the final stages of the negotiations,” said the source.

Meanwhile Amazulu did confirm on their website, the signing of 25-year-old Luyanda Hlongwa. The right back Durban born player signed a two year contract with Usuthu. He told the Amazulu website that he is really excited about joining club since it is a big club with great culture.

“I’m happy that I've finally signed for the team. Since arriving at training here the team has been looking good and showing commitment.

“Everyone has been fighting and you wouldn't say that this is a team that is on the bottom of the log. I believe it’s just a matter of time before we get out of that position.”
