PSL Transfer Wrap-up: Khenyeza and Grobler swap clubs while Mabizela’s move to Chippa hits a roadblock South Africa highlights all the PSL in-and-outs and the important transfer news during the January transfer window

Mabhuti Khenyeza’s unhappiness at SuperSport United has finally taken its toll as the striker is set to return to Ajax Cape Town, with the Urban Warriors striker Bradley Grobler making the switch to Matsatsantsa.

With all the details still to be set in stone according to Gavin Hunt, the Khenyeza-saga seems to be finally over after the player did not report back for training during the off-season.

The striker will be returning to the club where he enjoyed one of his most prolific seasons, scoring 16 goals for the Urban Warriors. Grobler has struggled to impress this season and will hope under Hunt's tutelage he can regain his lost form for SuperSport United.

Chippa United’s transfer action continues to hit slippery slopes, as the club lost out on Mark Mayambela’s services and have now seemingly hit a roadblock in trying to tie up a deal for Bidvest Wits Mbulelo Mabizela, as the clubs cannot agree on a transfer fee.

In other news, Monomotapa FC midfielder Ronald Chitiyo is currently training with Orlando Pirates, after the impressive Zimbabwean player was linked with a variety of PSL clubs.

Monomotapa FC has stated that the player will be assessed at Orlando Pirates for a week before any decision is made on his future.

Timothy Batabaire, whose career seemed to be in serious trouble after being released from Bidvest Wits, is currently trying to impress Craig Rosslee at AmaZulu, a club desperate to find players in order to help their PSL survival campaign.
