Louis Saha's time is up at Sunderland with South Africa a possible destination

The former Manchester United, Everton and now Sunderland striker could be on his way to South Africa, according to his current manager Martin O'Neill
Louis Saha is set to be released from his tenure at Sunderland with a place in a South African football side a possibility , following interest from an unknown PSL club.His club manager Martin O'Neill confirmed with the Sunderland Echo that, “I have heard that there is some interest in South Africa for Louis and it might be of some interest to him.”
Louis Saha has become frustrated during his time at Sunderland, as he has not started a game for Martin O'Neill's side since joining the club on a one-year-deal at the beginning of the 2012/2013 season.
Martin O'Neill believes the player expected more game-time when deciding to join the Black Cats, but supports his decision in trying to move on to a club which can accommodate his needs.
“As of today, we have told Louis is free to speak to other clubs and to leave if he can fix himself up somewhere,"Martin O'Neill told the Sunderland Echo.
“We have come to an agreement whereby we will cancel the remainder of his contract, shake hands and go our separate ways.
"That said, we are still a bit short in terms of numbers and Louis may stay with us until the end of the month until such time as – hopefully – we have strengthened the squad a little more.
“But we agreed that he could go as early as today, if he wishes to.
With Saha's current wage bill only suited to clubs such as Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates or Mamelodi Sundowns, the three PSL giants will most likely be vying for the French forward's signature.The talented, yet injury-prone striker would be a major coup for a PSL club to sign, as his European experience and quality in the final third far outweighs many strikers in South Africa's top-flight.
