'I do not care about rumours' - Pellegrini dismisses Malaga exit talk
The Chilean coach has been linked with Chelsea, Manchester City and Roma in recent weeks, but insists that he is very happy with life at La Rosaleda
Manuel Pellegrini has stressed that he is "very happy" at Malaga, dismissing rumours that he could be on his way out of La Rosaleda. The former Real Madrid boss' agent claimed that Chelsea had enquired about the trainer's availability, while Manchester City have been mooted as another potential suitor.
His representative also announced that he had turned down the Roma job following the sacking of Zdenek Zeman, and the Chilean is focusing on the Andalusian club.
“I do not care about the rumours. My mind is firmly in Malaga and I am very happy here," Pellegrini said at a press conference.
“I have no arrangement with anyone and I do not want to worry about anything else other than Malaga. We have to respond after the Champions League and show that we can play well in both competitions.
“We know that a win against Real Betis will give us a cushion over them [for fourth place] and that's very important.”
