I don't know if Neymar would fit at Barcelona - Pedro
The Blaugrana forward has praised the Brazilian wonderkid but also expressed his doubts over the South American's ability to gel with the team in case of a transfer to Europe
Barcelona winger Pedro believes that although Santos forward Neymar is a great player, he might have trouble adapting to life at Camp Nou should they decide to sign him.The 20-year-old talent, who has a contract in Brazil until 2014, continued to make an impression for his club as well as the Selecao with nine goals in 10 appearances during the domestic season so far.
However, the Blaugrana player is not fully convinced of the Brazilian's ability to make an impact for Barca, should he arrive at the club.
"We know he can play here. But you never know if he can fit with the team," the 25-year-old told Cope.
"What is known is that he is one of the best in the world and deserves to play in the best team in the world."
Pedro also took the time to comment on his side's current success in La Liga, in which they top the table with a staggering 16-point advantage over title holders Real Madrid.
"We have a good distance in the League," he continued. "We have a lot of points to spare, but we will try to not reduce that distance.
"The team will continue with the same ambition as usual.
"Seeing Tito [Vilanova, Barcelona coach] lead the team is the greatest joy possible for us," he added. "I hope he's on the bench this Sunday [against Espanyol] as that's important for us."
Barcelona will host city rivals Espanyol on January 6 at 19.00CET.
