Pellegrini: I do not care who Malaga draw in the Champions League

The Chilean coach believes that his team have a formidable task on their hands no matter who their opponents in the next stage of Europe's elite tournament are going to be
Manuel Pellegrini is of the opinion that every team in the round of 16 of the Champions League can cause Malaga plenty of trouble.

The Spanish side finished top of Group C and in the next stage they will only face teams which came second, but the 59-year-old coach insisted that there should be no place for complacency.

"I do not care [who our opponents in the next stage are going to be]," he told reporters at a press conference.

"Whoever we get, we will be up against one of the top 16 in Europe. The important thing is when February comes we play with the same conviction that saw us do well and progress.

"We are pleased that we qualified early and we were able to give some game time in the last two games to players that may not always play.

"In every game we win convinced from the start. We managed three wins and three draws against very difficult teams and that was down to our mentality."
