The 23-year-old is very pleased with the way he's settled in with the Catalans, and feels head coach Tito Vilanova is doing a great jobBarcelona defender Jordi Alba has stressed that he has not encountered any problems adapting to his new surroundings.
The Spain international joined the Blaugrana from Valencia in the summer transfer window, and he feels that the good atmosphere in the dressing room has helped him settle in quickly at the Camp Nou outfit.
"My transition has been good. I’m lucky that I got to spend a lot of time here as a youth player and it’s been fairly easy to make the transition," the left-back stated at a press conference.
"One of the biggest contributing factors to my fitting in with my new team-mates is the excellent atmosphere in the dressing room.
"I knew most of them because I had faced them on the pitch and now I get to play alongside them."
The young defender then went on to praise head coach Tito Vilanova, explaining that the 44-year-old knows what he's doing.
"He’s very aware of how things are going for me and that’s a good thing. He’s a very hard-working manager and he knows what he’s doing."
Barcelona are currently preparing for Saturday's Liga match away against Sevilla.
