SA Abroad: Pienaar set for Everton return against QPR

Steven Pienaar will start against QPR this weekend after serving a two match ban for his straight red card against Manchester City

Everton’s Steven Pienaar it set to start against QPR on Saturday and will hope to help the Toffees secure a win against the relegation threatened outfit. Pienaar and a host of overseas based South Africans will be in action this weekend.

Kagisho Dikgacoi will not take to the pitch until Tuesday, when Crystal Palace face Ipswich Town in yet another crucial Championship game. If the Eagles can claim victory they will move onto 69 points after 42 games.

Rounding up the action in England, Dean Furman will play against Crewe Alexandra for Doncaster Rovers. His side relinquished their firm grip on top of League One after a 2-0 loss against Carlisle United on Tuesday night and will target a comeback win in order to restore their lead.

May Mahlangu will play for Helsingborg on Monday night against Mjallby. His team sit in 3rd spot on the Allesveskan log and will seek a stronger performance after losing against IFK Goteborg in their previous match.

Tokelo Rantie may return from injury for Malmo when they play Kalmar. The Bafana Bafana striker scored in his side’s opening game of the season but was stretchered off after finding the back of the net. He will hope to make a start in his team’s third game of the league season.

In Belgium Anele Ngcongca, Darren Keet and Daylon Claasen will all be in action this weekend as the Belgian PRO League playoffs continue. Ngcongca will play against Lokeren, while Keet is set to keep goal against Mons. Daylon Claasen may only make the bench when his team Lierse play Gent. 

Possibly the most important Eredivisie game this season will be played on Sunday as Thulani Serero’s Ajax play PSV Eindhoven in a top of the league crush clash. Ajax have a slim three point advantage over their rivals and could extend their lead to six if they can force a victory.
