The Bafana Bafana right-back netted a rare goal for his side in Belgium, while Steven Pienaar sat out during Everton's 2-2 draw against Spurs

Steven Pienaar sat out once more against his old club Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday due to the two match ban he picked up after earning a straight red card against Manchester City. The Toffee's  midfielder will return against QPR next weekend. Everton failed to take three points off Spurs, as a late goal from Gylfi Sigurdsson meant that the all-important clash ended in a 2-2 draw.

Kagisho Dikgacoi's Crystal Palace continued to struggle and had to settle for a 0-0 draw against Barnsley on Saturday. The Eagles lie in 4th position on the Championship log and will face Ipswich Town in yet another vital match for a side which is desperate to return to the Premier League next season.

Dean Furman played the full 90 minutes against Tranmere Rovers, as his new side Doncaster Rovers secured a 1-0 win. Rovers currently top League One and will hope to hang on to their slim lead at the top of the standings, in order to gain promotion into the Championship next season. 

Bongani Khumalo did not make the squad for PAOK's 2-0 win over Veria in the Greek Super League.

Thulani Serero sat on the bench once more during Ajax's 4-0 thrashing of Heracles. Serero's side still maintain a three point advantage over PSL Eindhoven. With only 5 matches left in the Eredivisie, Serero will hope he gains a chance to help Ajax secure yet another league title.

Kamohelo Mokotjo did not make an appearance for Feyenoord as he was condemned to the bench during his team's 1-0 win over VVV which pushes the Dutch giants into 4th position in the Eredivisie.


The Allsvenskan continued this weekend, but Tokelo Rantie did not make an appearance for Malmo during their 3-1 win over Atvidaberg. The Bafana Bafana striker picked up an injury against Halmstad in the opening game of the season, but has already resumed light training and should be back in action soon.

May Mahlangu played the full ninety against IFK Goteborg in the Svenska Cupen, but his side crashed to a 1-0 defeat.


Darren Keet provided Kortrijk with a clean sheet against Gent during his side's second goalless draw in a row in the Belgian League playoffs. Daylon Claasen's Lierse lost 2-1 against Mons in the same playoff group, but the midfielder did not make an appearance for his club. 

Anele Ngcongca played the full ninety minutes for Genk and scored a 17th minute goal against Zulte-Waregem, but his opener was cancelled out and his side had to settle for a 1-1 draw.
