Sundowns sign Ngele on five-year contract

The 23-year-old Ngele sealed his move to the Brazilians on Friday, as Goal revealed earlier this week that Sundowns were also after his services together with Orlando Pirates
Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed the signing of Platinum Stars midfielder Mogakolodi Ngele on a five-year deal.

The Botswana international will, however, spend the rest of the season on loan at Stars before moving to the Brazilians next season, the club confirmed on Friday afternoon.

"Exciting attacking midfielder Mogakolodi Ngele has signed for Mamelodi Sundowns following tight competition for his signature between the top PSL teams.

"Ngele will, however, remain with Platinum Stars for the upcoming season, the club has confirmed.
The deal is for a 5-year period," Sundowns said on their official website.

Goal exclusively reported on Tuesday that Sundowns were looking to hijack Pirates' bid for the left-footed player having tabled an offer to Dikwena, and the Tshwane giants have now landed his signature.

Meanwhile, Sundowns have confirmed that striker Eleazer Rodgers will move to the Rustenburg-club as part of the deal.

The lanky forward spent last season on loan at Ajax Cape Town and his future has been the subject of speculation since it became evident that his services are no longer required at Chloorkop.
