Majoro to return to training on Wednesday after car accident

Former Bafana Bafana forward Lehlohonolo Majoro needs a few more days to recover from a car accident, which he suffered over the weekend
Orlando Pirates new striker, Majoro was reportedly involved in a major car accident on his way to Bucs match against SuperSport United in Pretoria on Saturday.

The Pirates' hopeful suffered injuries to the head, but the stitches will fortunately heal as they're not as serious as initially feared.

'Major' has been given extra time off to shake off the accident, rest and heal before rejoining his teammates in training on Wednesday.

One wonders why Pirates players have been involved in car accidents this season. Defender Rooi Mahamutsa was in a worse accident last month, so was former star player Andile Jali, while just last week Thulasizwe Mbuyane was in a terrible accident. Mbuyane signed for MP Black Aces from Pirates in January.

Bucs will be hoping to have Majoro back and fit for their Nedbank Cup quarter-final encounter against Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday.
