The 31-year-old former Bafana midfielder believes that Chiefs will be their toughest opponents to date when the two teams meet in a potential title decider on Saturday night
Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Teko Modise has conceded that Saturday's game against Kaizer Chiefs will be the "toughest game" for the Brazilians this season.
Although Modise admitted that Chiefs are a good side, he added that they don't fear anyone including the reigning PSL champions.
"We respect Kaizer Chiefs just like any other team. Everyone knows how good they are and we also acknowledge that," Modise was qouted on his own website. "Do not get me wrong, we do not fear anyone,” he said.
Modise added that Sundowns are a different side from the one that lost 1-0 to Chiefs in the first round, as he believes that they have improved in front of goal since then.
“In the first match we played against them we were unfortunate to concede an own goal,” he added. “On the other hand, we created a lot of chances which unfortunately we couldn’t put away. But now we are definitely a different team that scores goals when we get the opportunity.
“Overall it is going to be the toughest game we will ever play this season. We have to face them with that mentality which indicates the importance of the fixture,” he concluded.
