Massive boost for Chiefs as Masilela returns to training

The Bafana Bafana left-back has been out for some time now, and he certainly has competition from Simphiwe Mtsweni who has been impressive in his absence
Kaizer Chiefs have received a massive boost ahead of their Caf Champions League clash against Mozambican club Muculmana on Saturday night.

The Soweto giants have confirmed that full-back Tsepo Masilela has fully recovered from an injury that he suffered against Moroka Swallows last month.

The 28-year-old former Getafe player will be in contention for a place in the starting line-up for this weekend's encounter.

However, Masilela will have to dig deep if he is to walk straight into the starting eleven following Simphiwe Mtsweni's heroics in the past few games.

The 19-year-old Mtsweni impressed on his official debut away to Black Africa two weeks ago, and since then, he has consistently been in Stuart Baxter's team.

It remains to be seen whether the AmaKhosi mentor will keep rotating his squad again this weekend, as he has been doing since the start of their Caf campaign.
