Club captain Lucky Lekgwathi talks about Roger de Sa's departure, their latest victory and how Eric Tinkler is adjusting to his new role in charge of the camp
“It was a surprise to me and I was not expecting it at all,” Lekgwathi told Sport24.
“After we played the Ajax game, we were all happy to win that match and I was talking and laughing with him and he even said that what we need to improve now is our defensive play.
Lekgwathi also praised caretaker coach Eric Tinkler's inspiration for turning their game around against Bidvest Wits in midweek.
“He just told us that we have to be tight at the back just like what Roger wanted. He was cool, calm and collected at half-time last night although we were still trailing, and he advised us to keep the position and composure in front of goal," said Lekgwathi.
