Orlando Pirates' defensive problems could continue until the end of January, as Patrick Phungwayo and Siyabonga Sangweni are yet to start light training.
The two defenders were set to return in January, but Goal has learned that the duo are still limping although they are now walking without sticks.

Sangweni and Phungwayo are both suffering from Achilles tendon injury, and although Sangweni was expected to start training with the rest of the team in the first week of January, he will now have to wait a little longer.
In their absence, coach Roger de Sa has given Ayanda Gcaba and Lucky Lekgwathi a chance to prove themselves in different positions.
Meanwhile, Rooi Mahamutsa is set to start training with the rest of his teammates next month. The 32-year-old defender suffered an elbow injury during their game against SuperSport United.
