No trophies in more than a year in charge has left many Bucs fans tired of poor results, while De Sa faces a tough festive period under pressure, according to Goal's source

The Pirates hierarchy appear to have finally lost patience with coach Roger De Sa.

According to Goal sources close to the club, a bad result for the Buccaneers in their next fixture could mean the end for De Sa.

"Time is running out for coach Roger," the source tells Goal.

"The people are getting tired of losing in big games. Losing to Stars again yesterday and in the MTN8 final has upset the fans."

The Soweto giants lost their third consecutive final on Saturday, losing out to Platinum Stars in the final of the Telkom Knockout 2-1.

Prior to that result, Stars beat De Sa's side in the MTN8 final, before Pirates were defeated by Egyptian club Al Ahly in the final of the Caf Champions League.

De Sa took charge at the Sea Robbers in 2011 having left a successful Wits side behind, but the pressure is piling on the former SA goalkeeper to deliver a first trophy after more than a year in charge.

The Buccaneers next face a tricky trip to Cape Town on Wednesday, where they take on Ajax in a Premiership clash.
