Golden Arrows Mandla Mdunge spoke exclusively to Goal about the problems at struggling KwaZulu-Natal club Golden Arrows who lost their coach Manqoba Mnqithi recently
Talented playmaker Mdunge has played in Brazil, Sweden and Mozambique, so he has the experience to make frustrated conclusions about his time in Durban with Golden Arrows.
“I would not lie and say all is good as we are not doing well. It is really a concern for us as players to lose matches like this,” Mdunge told Goal.
Arrows lost 3-1 to SuperSport United in their last match where they were hoping to fight for a draw.
‘In our last match we were at least supposed to get a point but that did not happen. I have not lost hope that things will get better, but for now it is really hard,” he said.
Mdunge signed a three-year contract with the Lamontville club at the beginning of the season, so he will be patient to turn things around with his new team.
