The former AmaZulu hitman continued to knock on Stuart Baxter’s door with another brilliant performance as Chiefs triumphed in Botswana
Kaizer Chiefs easily brushed off Mochudi Centre Chiefs in a friendly game played at the National Stadium on Saturday night.
Lehlohonolo Majoro scored a brace as Stuart Baxter’s team thumped their Botswana opponents 3-0, with Mandla Masango scoring the other goal.
Majoro has been playing second fiddle to Kingston Nkhatha since last season, but the former AmaZulu forward hasn’t stopped fighting for his place in the Chiefs starting line-up.

Scoring two goals (against Centre Chiefs) has certainly sent a strong message to coach Baxter ahead of their next weekend’s Telkom Knockout Cup semi-final clash against Platinum Stars.
The 27-year-old Majoro is thought to be considering a move away from Chiefs when his contract comes to an end next June although his agent earlier confirmed to Goal that the player is willing to extend his stay at Chiefs.
Majoro scored eleven goals for the PSL champions last season despite limited game time, and he will be hoping to better that record.
