AmaZulu team manager, Japhet Zwane has made it clear to Goal that Craig Rosslee will not be sacked by the club despite the poor results latelyUsuthu lost 2-0 against Mariztburg United in the KZN Derby at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday.
The fans were mainly fuming because of their 7-1 thrashing caused by Mamelodi Sundowns, creating wounds in the team that had not healed yet. Usuthu team manager Zwane spoke exclusively to Goal about the future of Rosslee.
“There is no need for the management to panic and fire Rosslee. I think this could have happened to any coach. Yes, people are disappointed but I don’t think firing the coach is the solution. I can confirm that the management is not considering this at the moment,” said Zwane.

The Former Bafana Bafana player said the players confidence dropped and they will have to work hard in instilling self confidence in them again.
“Everyone is not happy with what is happening. We need to be realistic and fair about things. We are currently sitting on seventh position on the log because of the same coach that people are saying must leave. I understand the frustrations of the fans as the club belongs to them and not the management.
“This is a phase that comes and goes, and we will get back on our feet once again. We started very positively and we just need one good performance that will get the players confidence back,” he said.
