The PSL rookies have been struggling since their promotion to the elite league, but collecting a point during their midweek fixture against Bidvest Wits, could mean the beginning of great things under new coach Boebie Solomons.
Sundowns have been unstoppable so far and they will be aiming for the repeat of their previous game when they trashed AmaZulu 7-1 on Tuesday night, but it's not going to be an easy encounter for Pitso Mosimane’s men.
Only the attacking players will make this encounter interesting with Sundowns surely putting their faith on the likes of Dove Wome, Khama Billiat and Cuthbert Malajila.
However, those players will have to deal with the experienced Thapelo Tshilo at the back as well as midfielder Moffat Mdluli who once played for SuperSport United.
Thabo Rakhale and Siphesihle Nzimande are expected to lead City’s attack against the likes of Alje Schut and Rashid Sumaila at the back for Sundowns.Sundowns are currently placed first on the PSL log with 14 points after just six games while Polokwane City are 14th on the log with only four points from seven games.
