AmaKhosi will be out in Bloemfontein to wrestle the Macufe Cup title away from Celtic, and Baxter is expected to give the likes of Bukenya, Baloyi and Rusike some game time
Gould has done well to force his way back into Baxter’s starting line-up since recovering from a knee injury, and the Chiefs coach says the player has been pushed to the edge.
“In terms of rehabilitation, we’ve probably pushed him as far as we can push him. We’ve been balancing on a very thin edge. He has had lots of games and he could have broken down, because of fatigue. So, we’ve got to make a call on this one,” Baxter told reporters.

The 30-year-old former SuperSport United captain had a season to forget with AmaKhosi last season due to long term injuries, but he seems pretty comfortable at the back this season though Baxter feels fatigue might be creeping in on Gould.
Nonetheless, Baxter has other options as he hinted that he might include several new faces to his squad with Ivan Bukenya expected to make his debut for the Soweto giants.
“We might be tempted to throw in some new faces at the back. We have Gordinho, Ivan is also available. So, there’s no cause for concern at the moment,” said Baxter.
