Modise, who turns 31 later this year, doesn’t think he’s too old to return to Bafana, but he believes a lot of youngsters coming through can learn from their seniors.

However, he understands that he would have to improve his game if he really wants to return to the Bafana setup.

“This thing about me being too old, check all around the world, every team has experienced players blending with youngsters, but I respect that I have to work hard and return to the days when I used to play with a smile on my face,” concluded Modise.
