SuperSport United's Gyimah dreams of Brazil and Chelsea

Ghanaian international Edwin Gyimah has exclusively spoken to Goal about his ambitions for club and country

The SuperSport United midfielder made his debut for Ghana in 2012, and hopes the Black Stars will beat Egypt in their final Fifa World Cup qualifier.

“I would love to play in the World Cup next year. I think that is everybody’s dream. It is not an easy task though, as there are many players who are doing well and are highly profiled in the Ghana squad,” said Gyimah.

The midfielders ultimate long term goal is to play for Chelsea in the English Premier League and become one of the most respected players in Africa.

“My long term goal is to play in Europe for Chelsea. That will require more hard work from me and it starts from me performing for SuperSport United each and every match,” he said.

With United on a mission of challenging for the title, Gyimah said that if they can work together as a team then they can achieve anything.

“We need to work hard together as a team so that we can achieve our goal of finishing on the top of the log this season. We have good players and a good coach so I believe anything is possible,” he said.
