SuperSport's Diouf wants to be top scorer

SuperSport United midfielder Mor Diouf speaks exclusively to Goal about his ambition for the 2013/14 Absa Premiership season
The Senegal born player took the South African PSL by storm when he scored a goal from 70 yards last season. The SuperSport United midfielder Diouf spoke to Goal about his targets.

“My goal is to become the leading goalscorer. Although I am not a striker, I believe that I can achieve this if I take my chances from outside the box,” said Diouf.

After having represented Senegal's junior national teams, Diouf said he is working very hard to get a call-up into the senior national team.
“I miss playing for the national team and I am really working extra hard to get my place back there. I started off very well playing in the under-19 and under-20 setup, but after that things did not go my way,” he said.

With the arrival of Cavin Johnson in the SuperSport United camp, Diouf said he is learning a lot and becoming an improved player.

“I am vet happy with the arrival of the new coach. I am really learning a lot and feel that I am improving on my game more. He [Cavin] talks to people and also listens, which is crucial,” he said.
