Orlando Pirates midfielder Andile Jali ruled out for six months

Jali sustained a shoulder injury during Pirates' PSL clash with Polokwane City and the influential midfielder is set to miss six months of action after receiving scans
Orlando Pirates will be without Andile Jali until March next year, after the midfielder received scans on his injured shoulder, which revealed the extent of his injury he sustained during Pirates 1-0 win over Polokwane City last week.

The club's official website confirmed that Jali will not be available for competitive football for a period of six months, after an orthopaedic surgeon revealed further complications.

The midfielder is a vital cog in the Buccaneer's machine, meaning his injury is a massive setback for the club as they chase continental glory this season, with a semi-final clash against Tunisian giants Esperance looming for Pirates.

Pirates also face local rivals Kaizer Chiefs on Tuesday in a crucial MTN 8 semi-final clash, as their demanding fixture list continues.
