Kaizer Chiefs will hope Musona's goal against South Africa is a sign of things to come from their misfiring strikerKaizer Chiefs striker Knowledge Musona came back to haunt Bafana Bafana once again on Tuesday night, netting a stunning volley to open the scoring for Zimbabwe.
Musona has struggled to find his goal-scoring touch for Kaizer Chiefs after rejoining the club on loan at the beginning of the season, but his thirst for finding the back of the net may return after his impressive man-of-the-match performance against South Africa.

Zimbabwean coach Ian Gorowa was able to fire up Musona before the beginning of the match. Speaking to reporters following the 2-1 win Gorowa said, "Before the game I was speaking to Knowledge (Musona)."
"I said 'Knowledge, you are failing to score for Kaizer Chiefs so here is an opportunity for you to score.' And he did that. So hopefuly he can carry his form to Chiefs."
Musona has looked threatening for Kaizer Chiefs during the early stages of this season, but his shooting boots have failed him on multiple occasions, with many questioning the striker's state of mind and confidence levels.

The emphatic strike against Bafana Bafana displays what Musona can bring to the table for Chiefs, which should excite AmaKhosi's fans as the PSL campaign continues this weekend.
Speaking after the match, Musona was delighted with his personal performance on the night, stating that he wants to maintain this form as the season progresses.
"I think we had a good game, the team played very well and we managed to defend throughout the 90 minutes. So I am so happy for the team and also for the coach. I think my confidence is coming back now, so I am looking forward to doing more like this when I play for my club and the national team," Musona said.
