Baloyi is confident that Chiefs will soon get back to winning ways, because the players know what to do in their upcoming games

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Lucky “Sheriff” Baloyi has told the club website that the players are aware of what they need to do to return to winning ways.

AmaKhosi’s performance dropped in their last three games despite starting the season with a win away to MP Black Aces and at home against AmaTuks in the MTN 8.

“We know what we need to do to return to our winning ways,” said Baloyi.

Chiefs suffered their heaviest defeat in the league under Stuart Baxter against SuperSport United last Saturday, and Baloyi said they didn’t underestimate the Tshwane outfit. He admits that things fell apart in the second half of that game.

“We always approach each game with a winning mentality and it was no different for the game against SuperSport United. We gave them too much space to exploit us in the second half and they punished us,” he said.

The PSL defending champions will face Maritzburg United on September 14, and Baloyi said they need to start collecting maximum points.

“Our next game is at home and we need to start winning quickly,” added Baloyi.
