PSL refers Black Aces' Khenyeza matter to arbitration

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has referred the controversial 'spitting incident' involving Mabhudi Khenyeza to arbitration

Black Aces player Khenyeza claims he is innocent of the alleged incident which took place while he was an Ajax Cape Town player last season.

The latest legal proceedings follows the decision of the Safa Appeals Board, which upheld the verdict by the PSL Disciplinary Committee, but it reviewed the 12 months suspension by the PSL DC to a monetary fine of R50 000; R25 000 of which is suspended for 12 months.

The PSL will advise on the date of the arbitration. The League will make no further statement on the matter.
