The PSL Disciplinary Committee sat to hear the cases involving Free State Stars and their coach, Steve Komphela and Bloemfontein Celtic and coach Clinton Larsen on Tuesday night
All parties were charged for bringing the League and Safa into disrepute after their respective comments against match officials in the opening PSL match day.

Steve Komphela and his club Free State Stars, plus Clinton Larsen and his club Bloemfontein Celtic all pleaded guilty. The coaches were sentenced to fines of R50 000 each, and the clubs were sentenced to fines of R25 000 each. The fines are suspended for 12 months.
In addition, they were ordered to address a letter of apology to the League, the sponsors, the referee and Safa. They were ordered to pay their share of the costs.
