The Brazilians are currently in Ghana for their pre-season tour and they will take on Asante Kotoko and Dwarfs before returning back to the country
Mamelodi Sundowns communications manager Kabelo Mosito has told Goal that the team is gelling up well in their pre-season tour in Ghana.
Sundowns’ technical team, led by former Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane, is quite impressed with the response of the whole squad including the new players.
“The team has been preparing well in Ghana. The response from the players is amazing, and the new players are settling in well,” Mosito told Goal.

The Brazilians kick-started their pre-season tour in Ghana with a draw against Hearts of Oak, but Mosito confirms that the team did well.
“Yes, we drew 1-1 with Hearts of Oak in our first pre-season match in Ghana, but the team played well, because Hearts of Oak equalized in the last minute,” he said.
Mosito also confirmed that there is no truth in the reports that striker Nyasha Mushekwi has signed a one-year deal with Belgian side KV Oostende, but he says Sundowns are ready to listen to offers for the Zimbabwean-born forward.

“So far there is nothing regarding Mushekwi joining the Belgian side (KV Oostende), but we are aware that he impressed them.“However, there hasn’t been anything formal offer from their side to Sundowns. We are not going to stand on his way if Oostende wants to sign him,” added Mosito.
