Khune told the reporters gathered at Naturena on Thursday that Musona knows the culture of the team as well as the expectations that come with wearing the black and gold jersey of AmaKhosi.

“Knowledge knows the culture of the team and he knows what is expected from him. He is a quality player who can handle the pressure at any given time,” said Khune.
The Chiefs shot-stopper believes Musona will need no time to adapt to Stuart Baxter’s system and he is also banking on the experience the Zimbabwean international gained from playing in the Bundesliga.
Khune also believes that Musona will help AmaKhosi defend the two titles that they won last season. Chiefs are the current champions of the PSL and the Nedbank Cup.

“I don’t see him struggling in the upcoming season. He is bringing the experience from Germany. He will help the club defend the honours that we won last season.
“We welcome him and we are looking forward to playing alongside him,” added Khune.
Musona scored 15 league goals the last time he turned out for the Soweto giants, an outstanding performance that eventually earned him the Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot award.
