The Mbombela Local Municipality is set to launch a football tournament that will include Egyptian side Ismaily SC and the NFD outfit Sivutsa Stars amongst others.
The PSL champions Kaizer Chiefs have also been invited to take part in the tournament and although nothing has been finalized, it looks like AmaKhosi are willing to honour the invitation.

AmaKhosi were believed to be one of the two teams to face Man City in their tour to South African in July, but it was confirmed that the two teams are SuperSport United and AmaZulu, which gives the Soweto giants time to prepare for the Egyptian side Ismaily SC.
“A few calls have been made regarding the tournament, but all will be discussed during the week. I don’t see the reason why we cannot (honour the invitation), because our only competitive game will be the Carling Cup (against Pirates) on July 27,” a Chiefs official told Goal.
The match between the PSL champions and the Egyptian side (Ismaily SC) is set to take place on July 14 with the launch expected to be on June 28 in Nelspruit.
