thumbnail Hello,

The PSL has released the 2013/2014 season fixtures for the first, second and final week of the season, with AmaKhosi awaiting the NFD play-off winner in the first week

The Premier Soccer League (PSL), on Thursday conducted the first, second and final week fixtures for the 2013/2014 season.

There were not so many changes and surprises, as AmaKhosi will begin their title defence away to the eventual winner of the NFD playoffs.

Orlando Pirates will face AmaZulu at home, as they will be hoping to wrestle the league title back from their arch-rivals Chiefs.

Mamelodi Sundowns will have a tough test away to Bloemfontein Celtic, and although Pitso Mosimane’s troops have had an easy run against Siwelele, this fixture will certainly be challenging.

Cavin Johnson begins his term with Matsatsantsa at home against Free State Stars, and nothing less than a win will be expected from the former Dikwena tactician who was confirmed as the new SuperSport United coach on Wednesday afternoon.

Maritzburg United will have to wait little longer to know their opponents, as Polokwane City have not yet been confirmed as NFD champions despite finishing top of the NFD log after 30 games.
